IEA Constructors completed the design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover of a 25 MW_AC solar facility for Silicon Ranch Corporation, one of the nation’s largest independent solar power producers. Located near the rural community of Baxley, Georgia, the Appling Solar Farm project involved the hiring of roughly 200 local craft workers to assemble and install single-axis trackers on approximately 95,000 solar modules. Despite many challenges presented by COVID-19, IEA Constructors completed the project on time and within budget.
