Originally founded in 1977 as RMT, the company now known as IEA Constructors has
grown tremendously to become the contractor of choice for utility-scale energy and
heavy civil infrastructure projects. With a 40+ year history in the business, and over
9,000 MW of energy infrastructure built, our clients know that whatever they need,
we’ve done it before, and we’ve done it with great success.

IEA Constructors is a subsidiary of Infrastructure and Energy Alternatives, Inc. (IEA), a leading infrastructure construction company with specialized energy and heavy civil expertise. In 2022, IEA and its affiliated companies were acquired by MasTec and are now part of the organization's Clean Energy and Infrastructure segment. At IEA Constructors, we're able to leverage these companies' robust resources, diverse capabilities and national reach to deliver even greater value to our customers.
